MSSQL to MySQL

Convert a SQL Server export into a MySQL SQL file. Review conversion warnings before importing.

SQL Server → MySQL.sql only · Up to 20 MB

Enabled by default. Turn this off only if the destination uses NO_BACKSLASH_ESCAPES and you have checked the output.

This converter supports selected SQL Server export patterns. Unsupported statements may be omitted, and triggers need manual conversion. Review the output and test it on a separate database before importing.

SQL is converted as text, never executed.
Private processing · No sign-up · Results expire after 1 hour

How to use it

  1. Upload one UTF-8 .sql export from Microsoft SQL Server.
  2. Choose the backslash handling option and convert the file.
  3. Review the report, download the MySQL SQL file, and test it on a separate database.

A useful example

Prepare a SQL Server export containing table definitions and INSERT statements for review and testing in MySQL.

Good to know

Conversion is one-way: SQL Server to MySQL. The script handles selected export patterns, not every SQL dialect feature. Triggers require manual conversion; unsupported statements can be omitted. SQL is never executed on this website. Files are limited to 20 MB and results expire after one hour.
